The annual ballet festival week at the Bavarian National Opera has become an established tradition in Munich since 1960. Every April numerous dance friends travel to the Bavarian capital to see the great classics of ballet as well as new internationally and successful productions. International soloists from the Bolshoi Theatre, from New York and other parts of the world set standards in Munich which all have to live up to. The new performances are always an experience, when rock and ballet are combined together.
Events during the ballet week at the Bavarian National Opera
Experience the great classical ballets such as Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty as well as modern masterpieces of the Russian ballet, for which Stravinsky wrote his famous scores.
