The ISPO Munich takes place every year. The international trade fair for sport equipment and fashion has been since its first appearance in 1970 the world's leading trade fair for sport and leisure products and services. It has become an important part and indispensable of Munich's exhibition calendar.
ISPO: a trade fair for the world of sport
During January/February each year present 2,500 traders on an area of 180,000 square metres sport equipment and sport fashion. Nearly 100,000 visitors come to this trade fair to take advantage of the large and innovative range offered. Almost all sport activities are covered. Special emphasis is placed on the outdoor sports, winter sports, football and biking. A large room is provided for sportswear of all kind.
During the selection of the traders, the organisers take great care to also include new trends in sport and leisure. A separate hall for "fitness and health" has been provided during recent years. Even exclusive and trend sports are represented at the fair. In special areas athletes demonstrate their skills for new sport types.
Visitors keep to themselves
As a B2B trade fair and sector meeting the trade fair is only available to an approved trade visitor. Attendance and participation in the exhibition are only possible for manufacturers and distributors of sport goods, but also service oriented professions, such as athletes, sports teachers and coaches, sports medicine and tourism count to the approved trade visitors at the ISPO Munich.
In December 2014 we opened in the centre of Munich a relexa hotel with 121 comfortable hotel rooms for guests. In the lobby bar and the bistro restaurant you can relax and reflect on the day. The hotel guests can reach the trade fair with the underground line U2 in just 20 minutes. For motorists, the trade fair is directly connected to the A94. Those arriving by plane can use the shuttle buses between the airport and the exhibition centre.
